The more I listen to people who invest in REITs, they are essentially dividend seekers for retirement income. I'm 30 and had picked up some REITs as I understood the industry better, but my main thesis is to invest in REITs that I feel will definitely grow stronger post-pandemic and for the long term (into my retirement). The dividend is just an added kicker for me. With that investment thesis, should I be looking at certain REITs or real estate in general that follow better growth, or is getting these "retirement dividend income" REITs to hold for a long term still a viable, efficient use of capital? – James
